About Jennifer A. Murphy M.S. Author, Teacher, Light Worker
I live in Bozeman, Montana and have been in Big Sky Country since 1988. I am
married to Steve and have two teenagers, a cat named Kee-Kee and a black lab
named Bailey. I began writing when I was in elementary school. Most of my writing was done in my diary and it is something I still do today. Writing has always been a good outlet for my creative expression. Spirituality and nature are also part of my everyday living. I love to learn about various philosophies, beliefs, and strategies to live a spiritually fulfilled life. I believe nature gives messages from the Divine on a regular basis, so I am continually using the energy of nature to help me on my life path. Flower essences, aromatherapy oils, rocks, crystals, sea shells, trees, plants, flowers, feathers, animals, water, air, fire, and earth all contribute to my feeling of well-being. I think they are all gifts from the Divine to help us along our journey here on Earth. If we pay attention to the world around us we will see the subtle, and at times, the obvious signs of love from nature and the Divine. I grew up in Los Altos, California. I went to a Catholic grammar school and high school. Needless to say, religion and now I like to call it spirituality has been a major part of my life. When I was young I spent most of my time outdoors with my animals and nature soaking up all the wonderful energy that surrounded me. My parents let me own a variety of pets: bunnies, chickens, ducks, hamsters, mice, fish, a dog and cat. We did not have land for a horse but I am sure if we did, they would have said "yes." At my grammar school I used to get in trouble with the nuns for bringing to school books on astrology; a four leaf clover; and my little Wee Folk friends. I always had an innate sense this was a genuine part of our world. I received a B. S. in Exercise Physiology at San Jose State University, California in 1984. Upon graduation I took a job in San Francisco with a special event company. A year later I worked for Apple Computer, Inc. In 1988 I moved to Bozeman, Montana, attended grad school and in 1990 received a Masters of Science in Business Education with an emphasis in Training and Development. In 1991 I began my career as an instructor in the College of Business at Montana State University and married Steve. My son was born in 1992 and my daughter in 1993. Having children and telling them stories at night re-ignited my love of writing and the Wee Folk. In 2003 I received my Real Estate license to become a Realtor in Montana and transitioned out of the College of Business in 2004. Also, in 2004 my first book was published. It is a children's book titled 'What I Believe.' My next book is coming out in 2007. Currently, I divide my time between my writing, family, and real estate. I have studied and trained through out the years with various spiritual teachers. Denise Linn is one of my favorite teachers. I studied space clearing, feng shui principles, and using intuitive guidance for your life path with Denise and others. My energy work practice began in 1995. My services at the beginning were based upon feng shui principles and intuitive guidance. Through out the years I have done my own inner work and my energy work has changed into a broader practice and I now incorporate the energy of nature. The guidance I receive from the Sacred Energies of Nature I communicate to my clients. I conduct workshops helping participants connect with the Sacred Energies of Nature and the Wee Folk. Please see my Services page for more details. If you read my children's book 'What I Believe' (original title: mommy, what do you believe?) you will understand some beliefs that have helped me through life that I wanted to pass onto my children and now other children too. To preview and order this book, please go to my web page titled 'What I Believe'. 'Messages from the Wee Folk, Connecting with the Sacred Energies of Nature'
delves into the nature world and helps you connect with nature, nature spirits,
faeries, gnomes and other wee folk. To learn more about this book please go to my web page titled 'Messages from the Wee Folk.' My spiritual beliefs have always been with me and helped me through each joyous phase, transition and bump in my life. My goal is to help others understand that the nature world and spirituality is integrated in our everyday busy lives and teach how we can notice their signs of love and support. I hope my work inspires you to understand and feel the love of nature and the Divine in our everyday life. Love and Peace,
