Daily, the animals in the shelter live with a lot of stress – new situations, loss of owners, or general feelings of displacement – all of which led to an emotional working and living environment for animal and personnel. In addition, the shelter was a 30 year old building with an enormous volume of animal energies passing through it over the years. After each blessing, graciously sponsored by a donor, adoptions increased, staff attitude improved, and the general demeanor of staff, animals and adopter became more positive. Customer comments reported positive experiences while looking for and adopting the right animal for their homes and families. Animal stress levels appeared to decrease as they put their best paws forward to potential new families, displaying all the necessary niceties to get a new home.
